So, living in Victoria... everyone walks and/or bikes everywhere here.

I've started walking more, and I've noticed something... ok, I watched the Olympics first, then I noticed this....

When I walk, I strike with my heel first (using that to drive my forward), then roll up onto the ball of my foot, push off, then pick it up and repeat. I watched the Olympic runners, and they are all on the balls of their feet. So I had one of those "clairvoyant moments" and thought: Is that just a running thing, or have I been doing this walking thing wrong my whole life?!?!?!!?

I've had back problems, and 2 different things "wrong" with my feet in my life... I'm starting to wonder... is this tied to me walking like an idiot?

so... kinda curious at this point... I want people to go for a stroll, and see how they walk. What is your gate... or the mechanics of how you walk...?
